Putin orders National Guard Service to apply for car purchase fast

MOSCOW, May 6 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered Director of the Federal National Guard Service Viktor Zolotov on Wednesday to prepare and present to the government an application for purchases of light cars and special-purpose machinery for the service.

“(An application) not only for light cars. There also can be military and special-purpose machinery,” he said, adding that the application should be sent as soon as possible.

Zolotov said that the authority has already acquired 680 special-purpose vehicles, but it needs more.
